second of the two cases if you wish to reserve anything send us an
e-mail as confirmation or give us a ring.
We will reply quickly.
For
B&B we will give you the full address of your chosen host.
For
furnished apartments and gites: we will give you the owner's
personal contact details and the address of the accommodation ro
be rented.
In
both cases you will be given the option to reserve.
Confirmation of the booking.
For a
definite reservation, we will ask you to send the owner a
deposit
- in the amount of 50% of the cost of the stay for 1 or 2 nights.
- in
the amount of 25% of the cost of the stay for a sojourn greater
than 3 nights.
- in
the amount of the cost of 2 weeks the stay for a sojourn greater
than 8 weeks.
Ways to send your deposit for people living outside of France.
First choice:
you have a French check book with checks payable in France, the
deposit must be sent, as a check, made out directly to your host.
Second choice: the
deposit is sent by Western Union or a Postal Money Order to your
host.
Third choice: the deposit must also be paid by a SWIFT (wire) transfer from
your bank to the IBAN (International Bank Account Number) of your
host without charges and fees to the final receiver. If there are
any taxes and if your host has to pay them, he will have to add it
on the final invoice. Normally there are no extra fees or taxes
for those who live in the Euro Zone and use the Euro.
Tell us
your choice. If you choose the third one, we will provide you the
IBAN of your host.
To
pay directly by credit card is not possible.
We will
confirm receipt of the deposit by email.
RENTING PAYMENT TERMS
Any
combination of stay which totals less than 4 weeks.
Please
settle the whole amount due, minus the deposit, on receipt of the
keys.
Any
combination of stay which totals more than 4 weeks.
Please
settle the whole amount due for 4 weeks on receipt of the keys. Your
next payment will be due at the start of the next 4 week period. The
deposit will be deducted from the last period of your
stay.
Payment
will only be accepted by cheque or in cash.
Deposits
against damage.
For
furnished apartments and holiday cottages, a cheque or an amount of
money by cash as deposit against damage will be required by the
owner on your arrival before the keys are handed over. This cheque
won’t be cashed and will be returned after inspection of the
property at the end of the stay.
Cancellation of a booking after the payment of a deposit.
More than
2 weeks before the beginning of the stay : the entire deposit will be refunded.
Less than 2 weeks before the beginning of the stay (4 weeks
for the period of July and August) : part or all of the deposit will be refunded on condition that the
apartment or room concerned has been let to someone else. A total
refund will only be given if the length of stay and tariff of the
new reservation are the same as that of the one cancelled.
AVAILABILITY OF
THE RESERVED LODGING
The rooms, and some studios which are rented by the night, are
normally available from 18h30 onwards and must be released before
11h am on the day of departure. If you wish to arrive earlier or to
leave luggage on the last day, contact directly your host for an
eventual agreement.
The
apartments or furnished lodgings rented by the week are normally
available Saturdays after 17h00. If you wish to arrive earlier, or
on another day, contact directly the owner for an eventual
agreement.
Whatever
the case you must contact your host or the owner, as soon as
possible,
by telephone or email to let them know indicate your approximate
hour of arrival on the first day.
