Methods of reservation

How to book accommodation
Sending us an email, rather than calling us on the telephone , is the easiest and most efficient way to book accommodation.

  • Please give us the following information:
  • your arrival and departure dates
  • the number of people in your party
  • the area/district in Lyon or surrounding area where you would like to stay
  • the type of accommodation you require (Bed and Breakfast, studio, apartment, house or gite)
  • Or if you have already made your choice, the name of the chosen accommodation. We will then send you an option . Confirm your chosen accommodation by return email and we will send you the owners' coordinates.

 

To confirm your réservation.

To guarantee your reservation, please confirm your booking to the owners, with a copy to Chambreslyon, and send a deposit by cheque, bank transfer or Western Union transfer directly to the owners.

Credit card payments can be made via when the Paypal logo is displayed on the accommodation tariffs page.

  • 1 or 2 nights : 50% of the total cost of your stay
  • 3 nights to 8 weeks' stay: 25% of the total cost of your stay
  • Over 8 weeks: two weeks' rental

The owners, or your host in the case of Bed and Breakfast, will confirm receipt of your deposit by email.

Arrivals and departures

  • Daily rentals: arrival times after 6.30 pm and departures before 11.00 am on the last day of your stay
  • weekly rentals: arrivals after 5.00 pm

Should you wish to arrive earlier, please contact the owners directly. In all cases, please contact the appartment's owners or Bed and Breakfas host, either by email or telephone, to advise them of your arrival time.

Methods of payment

  • stays less than 4 weeks: payment in full, less the deposit, when you are given the keys.
  • stays over 4 weeks: payment for the first 4 weeks when you are given the keys. The next payment will be due at the beginning of each 4 weeks' period. The deposit will be deducted at the end of your stay.

Payment by cash or cheques only. (Paypal)

Securit deposit.

A security deposit is required for furnished apartments and houses when you are given the keys. On the "Tarifs" page you will find the amounts for large deposits required when the accommodation is particularly prestigious or contains valuable goods. This cheque will not be lodged and will be refunded at the end of your stay, after carrying out an inventory check. In some cases and if applicable, a deduction can be made for electricity, gas and telephone when usage has exceeded the allowance. A deduction may also be made for end-of-stay cleaning when the accommodation is not left in the state in which it was found.

Cancellation policy

Should you need to cancel after you have sent a deposit:

  • More than 4 weeks before the beginning of the stay: refund of the whole deposit.more than 4 weeks before the start of your stay: a full refund will be made.
  • less than 4 weeks before the start of your stay: refund (full or partial) of your deposit only if the Bed and Breakfast or apartment is rented to another client (for the same duration and at the same tariff to obtain a full refund)
